WASHINGTON — A lucky owl is recovering after a harrowing encounter with a vehicle in Minnesota.
The owl was hit by a car after swooping down near a highway overnight last week, and got lodged in the vehicle’s front grille, the New York Daily News reports.
Kenneth Love, who was behind the wheel, shared pictures of the incident on Twitter as the bird remained stuck. He also posted a video online, which shows his attempts to free the owl from the grille, with no success. Click here to see the video.
