WHAT’S AT STAKE
Oklahoma State, with No. 4 Baylor the only teams 3-0 in Big 12, has a five-game winning streak. But Cowboys’ conference wins are against Texas Tech, Iowa State and Kansas — all 2-4, overall, 0-3 in league. TCU looks to bounce back from wild 61-58 loss at Baylor when the Horned Frogs blew a 21-point lead in final 11 minutes, after winning over then-No. 4 Oklahoma their last home game.
KEY MATCHUP
Oklahoma State WRs vs. TCU secondary. The Cowboys have five receivers with 13-18 catches, and another with three TDs among nine catches. The Frogs have more interceptions (nine) than touchdowns allowed (eight), and were giving up only 173 yards passing a game before Baylor’s 510.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Oklahoma State: Tyreek Hill has returned a kickoff for touchdown in each of the last two games, the first player in OSU history to do so in consecutive game. The junior has also rushed 38 times for 196 yards (5.2 yards per carry), caught 18 passes for 183 yards (10.2 yards per catch), averaged 8.7 yards on 17 punt returns and 28.1 yards on 16 kickoff returns.
TCU: LB Paul Dawson leads the Big 12 with 11 tackles per game, including 18 stops and two sacks last week against Baylor. His 41-yard interception return for a touchdown was the winning score vs. Oklahoma.
