RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe is leaving on his first international trade mission.
McAuliffe leaves Wednesday for a week-long trip to China and the United Kingdom where he will try and drum up businesses for Virginia.
Spokesman Brian Coy says McAuliffe and a handful of aides will spend three days in China and five days in the U.K.
The governor’s office plans to release the details of who the governor plans to meet with on Wednesday.
Several past governors have gone on similar trade missions.
