BALTIMORE (AP) — Organizers say more than 200 guns were collected at a gun buyback event in Baltimore.
Radio station WBAL-AM (http://bit.ly/1ppeO4O ) reports 231 guns were collected Saturday during the Goods for Guns event.
Officials were offering a $100 gift card to the supermarket ShopRite for anyone who turned in a handgun or shotgun.
The event was held at the New All Saints Catholic Church between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Last year’s Goods for Guns collection took in over 460 weapons.
