WASHINGTON — Winter is finally over — and many D.C. area residents couldn’t be happier to kick the season of snow to the ice-encrusted curb.
WTOP’s Twitter followers sounded off about their excitement for the season and shared some of the things they are most excited about doing in spring, which arrived at 12:57 p.m.
Whether people said they are looking forward to not dressing in so many layers, spending more time outside or (hopefully) putting away the snow shovel until next year, many metro area residents are embracing their spring fever.
@WTOP Looking forward to walks & gradually seeing everything turn green and blossomy. Nothing beats the sense of renewal in spring. #hope
