WASHINGTON — Besides the troubles at healthcare.gov, Maryland’s health care website, marylandhealthconnection.gov is also struggling to work out bugs and glitches.
The latest report from the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange says that improvements have been made to password functions as well as enhancements to system performance and user experience. But the report indicates that technical problems remain, causing error messages and delays for some consumers.
The site has been among the worst performers of all the state exchanges.
According to the state’s latest report, which does not include results from this week, just 3,024 individuals have enrolled in qualified plans on the website.
Counting Medicaid enrollments, the state expects to have more than 95,000 signed up for coverage by Jan. 1.
