WASHINGTON – Fairfax County communities and Alexandria have something to celebrate. They’ve made a top 10 list for the best cities in Virginia.
The list of 50 areas compiled by Movoto, a real estate blog out of San Mateo, Calif., ranked the areas using a number of factors, including amenities, education, diversity and crime.
At the top of the list is Centreville, followed by Tysons Corner and McLean.
Centreville takes the top honor for its luxury townhouses, shopping and hiking trails.

- Oakton
- Alexandria
- Chantilly
- Reston
- Rose Hill
- Suffolk
