WASHINGTON – A woman was shot dead Saturday morning in Germantown.
The Montgomery County police say the woman was shot just before 8 a.m. on Crystal Rock Drive near Germantown Road.
Police say the 49-year-old was walking along the street when she was shot. The victim was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
There are currently no suspects in the shooting but police are investigating.
