WASHINGTON – A Justice Department training manual has for years included a photo showing a firing squad and reportedly suggests as a joke that agents could face such punishment for leaking classified secrets.
The Washington Times reports an online manual for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has included the photo since 2008.
Justice Department officials told the Times the photo was a joke and they planned to remove it after the end of the partial government shutdown.
