Every 57 hours, a law enforcement officer is killed in the line of duty. And the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund is there to honor those officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

To raise awareness and funds in honor of these fallen heroes, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund is holding the third annual Law Enforcement Ride & Run to Remember, on October 12-13, 2013. Register today at www.RideandRuntoRemember.org.

Three ways to participate:

  • On Saturday October 12, 2013, participants can register to ride 55 or 30 miles in our bike events taking place at National Harbor, MD.
  • On Sunday October 13, 2013, participants can register to run in our 5K race taking place in Washington, DC adjacent to the National Law Enforcement Officers
  • Or participants can register as a Road Warrior to participate in both the ride and run events. These events are designed to raise awareness about the role of law enforcement in our communities and raise funds to support and honor law enforcement officers.

If you can’t join us in Washington, DC that weekend, register to participate virtually from your own location. Virtual participants will receive all participant amenities and are eligible for fundraising incentives.

In addition to a registration fee, participants are required to fundraise a minimum of $72 as a symbolic tribute and reminder of the number of officers killed on September 11, 2001
