WASHINGTON – Drivers are starting to see a break at the gas pump.
WTOP’s latest Pain in the Gas Survey shows double-digit decreases in all grades of gas, when comparing prices from one month ago.
On average, drivers are paying $3.40 cents a gallon for regular gas, down 17 cents from this time last month.
Mid-grade is down 11 cents to $3.66 a gallon. Premium is down 13 cents to $3.82 a gallon. Diesel saw a 13-cent drop to $3.96.
A year ago this week the average price of a gallon of regular was $3.31. Mid-grade was $3.50 and diesel $3.94 per gallon.
