WASHINGTON – A shipwreck, a survival tale and a ferocious tiger on a lifeboat: How could Hollywood not make that movie?
Fans of the Yann Martel novel “Life of Pi” — about an Indian boy who loses his family in a shipwreck and is stuck at sea with only a tiger as company — likely are already aware that the book is slated for the big screen. And now they can get a sneak peek.
The first trailer for the Ang Lee-directed film has hit the Internet, and shows what looks to be an artistic and visually entertaining treatment. The film is slated for a November release.
