WASHINGTON – Maryland voters who might be confused about where they go to vote on April 3 have a reason to be. The state’s congressional districts were changed, sending some voters to new polling places.
When congressional districts are redrawn, the boundaries move even if you have not moved residence.
Maryland’s Elections Board suggests voters check in with their county elections site before they head to the polls. The Board of Elections page for Montgomery County offers a comprehensive site that will return the location of the polling place assigned to an address.
The same site also offers access to information on early voting, which starts this Saturday, March 24. Election day is April 3.
