WASHINGTON – Americans appear fed up with the political process and the leaders from whom they have to choose in 2012.
A new USA TODAY/Gallup poll finds a majority think the election process isn’t working and the candidates aren’t proposing good ideas.
Fewer than half say there’s a candidate in the race who would make a good president.
President Barack Obama is in a statistical dead-heat with Republican challengers Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich.
The poll’s margin of error was plus or minus 4 percentage points.
