Local watch parties for every March Madness game

WASHINGTON — The D.C. area is full of transplants, and even if you grew up here, you may well have gone to college elsewhere. But if your alma mater made this year’s NCAA Tournament (and you’re not traveling to the game), you can still probably find a group of fellow alumni cheering them on somewhere in the D.C. area.

We reached out to the alumni associations of every school in the field of 68, and have filled in all the official watch parties already on the books. Some schools have home bars, but nothing officially scheduled yet. Others don’t have enough of a local alumni presence to hold a party, or have decided not to due the starting times of their games.

Here’s every establishment for the first round of games, listed chronologically by start time. If you see your school on here and know of a watch party that we haven’t listed, let us know!
