WASHINGTON — At least one person is going to have a very happy Easter this year: One winning ticket for Friday night’s $521 million Mega Millions jackpot was sold in New Jersey.
The winning numbers 11, 28, 31, 46, 59 and Mega Ball 1.
Friday’s night jackpot was the fourth largest jackpot in Mega Millions history and the winning ticket was drawn on the six-year-anniversary of the record $656 million jackpot being won.
This is the first time someone has won the jackpot since January 5, when a 20-year-old man from Florida claimed the $451 million prize.
The jackpot resets to its starting value of $40 million for the next drawing on Tuesday, April 3.
