Secret Service laptop with sensitive information stolen in NYC

WASHINGTON — A Secret Service laptop that contains sensitive information was stolen from an agent’s vehicle in New York City, according to CBS News.

CBS News confirmed Friday that NYPD detectives are searching for U.S. Secret Service laptop that was stolen from an agent’s vehicle Thursday. The laptop contains sensitive information about President Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and the pope, reports CBS.

The incident is considered a compromise of national security.

It is not yet clear if a suspect has been identified.
