Man arrested after McDonald’s stabbings in Silver Spring

A man is under arrest following a stabbing incident at a McDonald’s in Silver Spring, Maryland, earlier this week.

Theodore Andrew Brandy, 34, is suspected of stabbing three men inside the McDonald’s in the 8400 block of Colesville Road on Tuesday morning.  All three victims suffered injuries that were not believed to life-threatening.

Brandy was arrested the following day about half a mile away from the McDonald’s at the Ellsworth Place shopping center in the 8600 block of Colesville Road, according to Montgomery County police.

He was identified as a possible suspect in the stabbings and located with the help of area business owners and patrons, according to police.



A warrant has been requested for Brandy with charges including three counts of first-degree assault, three counts of attempted murder and possession of a weapon.
