WASHINGTON — Montgomery County police have released the photos of three suspects who they say assaulted a Ride On bus driver in Potomac, Maryland, on March 7.
Police say the three suspects boarded the bus in the area of Nicholson Lane and Nicholson Court, in Bethesda.
The driver told police the suspects were disturbing other passengers, and that he asked the suspects to stop, but the suspects continued being disruptive.
He eventually stopped on Westlake Drive, near Arizona Circle, in Potomac, and told the suspects to exit the bus. As they exited, one suspect spit on the driver.
The driver exited the bus and was immediately assaulted and pepper-sprayed by one of the suspects, the police said.
Fire and Rescue came to the location and took the driver to a hospital.
Investigators have released the photos of the three suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them. Anyone who recognizes them is urged to call the police at 230-773-6710. Crime Solvers of Montgomery County are offering up to $10,000 for any information that leads up the arrest of the suspects.
