White has been charged with theft and faces up to 30 years in prison and a $30,000 fine.
White has worked for the county since 2005, and police are investigating to see if this was a one-time event or if he has been involved in other cases of theft of county equipment.
White is out on bond and has a preliminary hearing scheduled in Montgomery County District Court on March 2.
