WASHINGTON — One person has died after a double stabbing Wednesday night in Aspen Hill, Maryland.
Around 8:25 p.m., police got a call about an assault in the parking lot of a gas station on Georgia Avenue, north of Connecticut Avenue. When officers arrived, they found two male victims, one with life-threatening injuries.
Police say both victims were taken to a hospital, where one of the males died. The second victim was listed in serious condition.
According to police, a preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect or suspects assaulted the victims in the parking lot, and then fled the area. No information about suspects has been released at this time.
The victim’s body is set to be taken to Baltimore for an autopsy.
