Photos: Treacherous weather pounds DC area

WASHINGTON — Heavy downpours have led to flash flood watches and problems out on the roads this week.

Part of the problem is the area is still recovering from the storms over last weekend that dumped as much as 6 inches of rain on Saturday, July 21 alone in some parts.
