HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) _ Gov. Larry Hogan is meeting with constituents and campaigning for fellow Republicans during a three-day swing through western Maryland.
He spoke Thursday in Hagerstown at a fundraising breakfast for congressional candidate Amie (AH’-mee) Hoeber, followed by a cabinet meeting at the downtown Maryland Theatre.
Hogan says Hoeber’s bid to unseat 6th District Rep. John Delaney reminds him of his own upset victory in the 2014 governor’s race.
Hogan is also scheduled to visit a Hagerstown elementary school and speak at a cemetery sesquicentennial event Thursday.
He’s speaking Friday at an information technology conference near Cumberland. On Friday afternoon, he’ll discuss funding for heroin prevention and enforcement at the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office.
On Saturday, Hogan serves as grand marshal of the Autumn Glory Festival parade in downtown Oakland.
