WASHINGTON — Investigators have released video of a man suspected of grabbing a girl in the Sterling, Virginia, area last week and touching her inappropriately.

It happened around 4 p.m. on Jan. 3 as the victim was walking home from school.

The girl told the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office that she was using a walking path near Wrightwood Place when a man, who appeared to be jogging, approached her.

She said that when the man grabbed her, she screamed and he ran away.

The man is described as 25 to 30 years old, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a thin build, wearing shorts over black tights, a black jacket and a hat.

In the video, you can see that his shorts were blue with white stripes down the sides, and his hat appears to be beige.

The sheriff’s office has also released a composite sketch of the suspect.

Anyone with information that may help identify the man should call 703-777-1021.
