Police seek information about fatal Sterling crash

WASHINGTON — Loudoun County police are seeking more information regarding a fatal Thursday morning crash in Sterling, Virginia.

The driver of a Jeep Wrangler lost control of the vehicle near Pebble Run Place and Overland Drive around 6 a.m., police say. The vehicle rolled several times and the driver died, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

The name of the driver has not been released. Next of kin has not yet been notified.

A witness said the Jeep and another vehicle were speeding in the area just before the crash. The driver of the other vehicle left the area. The witness said the other vehicle was a dark-colored car, possibly a two-door Honda or Toyota sedan.
