WTOP wins 2 national Edward R. Murrow Awards

WASHINGTON — WTOP took home two national Edward R. Murrow Awards at a ceremony in New York Monday night.

The station was presented with the large-market radio awards for website and overall excellence, the Radio Television Digital News Association announced.

CBS Radio News won the network awards for overall excellence, network newscast and breaking news. WTOP is a CBS affiliate.
