WASHINGTON — If you have unusual antiques at your house that you’re willing to sell, the guys from TV’s “American Pickers” might be interested in stopping by.

Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz and friends are filming the History Channel show in the D.C. area (as well as in West Virginia and Delaware) this month, and they want your help figuring out the best places to visit.

The “Pickers” are especially interested in rare items that they’ve never seen before — items that have a fascinating story behind them.

Size matters, too: They’re looking for a large, private collection (or accumulation of antiques) that is so big that it will take them the better part of a day to look through them.

If you think your place would be a worthy destination, submit your name, phone number, location, and a description of your collection with photos to americanpickers@cineflix.com, on Facebook, or by calling 1-855-OLD-RUST.

On the documentary series, Wolfe and Fritz travel around the country searching for forgotten relics that they can “rescue and recycle,” according to the History Channel. The two also learn interesting stories behind those unique discoveries.

The show has been airing on History since 2010, and new episodes can be seen at 9 p.m. Mondays.
