WASHINGTON — He has a distinctive gray and white beard and wears a Nats cap — that’s part of a description from the FBI looking for a serial armed robber.

The FBI said the suspect, a black man over 40 years old who stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall, is responsible for seven convenience store robberies in the last year.

And he moves around. In October 2015, investigators say he hit a 7-Eleven in College Park and a Shell gas station in Bowie.

So far this month, he’s been seen on store surveillance robbing an Alexandria Exxon, another Exxon in Northwest D.C., a CVS in Seat Pleasant and a Sunoco gas station on Arlington’s Fort Meyer Drive. At times, the suspect wears a gray hoodie that reads ‘Mercersburg’ and he’s often seen wearing red.

There are a handful of clear photos of this man and a $5,000 reward for a successful tip.
