Prettier than flowers In celebration of Mother’s Day, Claire Heitzler, head of pastry creation at Ladurée, was inspired by delicate scents and exquisite colors of garden flowers. Claire has explored innovative new floral and sweet combinations such as poppy and Carla lavender. Her unique creations (macarons, pastries and ice cream) are available for a limited time. Most are seasonal, just like fresh flowers. You can pop into the shop for lunch or tea and let mom pick out her favorites like the poppy flower pastry, a shortbread almond biscuit topped with a soft almond biscuit and a light mousse infused with poppy flower.
