The Hunt: Pakistani doctor who helped track down bin Laden may be released

WASHINGTON — As U.S. authorities hunted Osama bin Laden, Dr. Shakil Afridi helped track him down by participating in a fake hepatitis vaccine program.

He was later sent to prison.

On this week’s edition of The Hunt, Pakistan’s ambassador to the U.S., Aizaz Chaudhry, responds to reports that Afridi might be released.
