WASHINGTON — The Austin bomber is likely dead: After 18 days of terror, 24-year-old Mark Anthony Conditt blew himself up as authorities closed in on him at a hotel north of Austin, Texas. Authorities fairly sure, though not certain, he was the only bomber.
