WASHINGTON — The organic grocery store Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring for its new location in Ellicott City, Maryland.

A hiring fair with walk-in interviews is planned for Feb. 1 at the Turf Valley Resort from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The store hopes to hire as many as 150 employees, from clerks, cashiers, department managers and more.

The new 30,000-square-foot store is set to open on March 14 in St. John’s Plaza and will be the chain’s first location in Maryland and the mid-Atlantic.

Another Sprouts Farmers Market is set to open in Towson in July.
