PHOTOS: 2024 Capital Pride weekend in DC

WTOP is marking Pride Month by showcasing the people, places and important issues in the LGBTQ+ communities in the D.C. area. Check back all throughout June as we share these stories, on air and online.

The District was decked out in all colors of the rainbow as the 2024 Capital Pride Parade and Block Party passed through the streets of D.C. on Saturday.

At the Capital Pride Concert and Festival on Sunday, vendors beneath canopies lined Pennsylvania Avenue northwest, with the Capitol dome as a backdrop for a stage bedecked with bright lights for the day’s music performances.
