WASHINGTON — Police arrested a man who they say was involved in multiple bank robberies in Fairfax County, beginning in June 2014.
Amin Huie, 42, of Arlington was identified following a robbery that occurred around 3 p.m. Friday, June 10 at the Capital One Bank on 1100 West Broad St. in the City of Falls Church.
Local police departments and the FBI Washington Field Office Violent Crimes Task Force said after a thorough investigation, they believe Huie is the “Forever Loyal Bandit” who is responsible for six other bank robberies and one attempted robbery in Fairfax and Arlington.
Huie has been taken to the Arlington County Adult Detention Facility and charged with robbery.
