WASHINGTON — Finding a park in Fairfax County just got a lot easier.
The county park authority has announced a smartphone-friendly search tool that lets you find parks, learn which facilities and programs each park has, where the closest one is to you, Google Maps directions and more.
It works like an app, but it’s not, the authority stresses; there’s no downloading or updating.
Just go to the Fairfax County Parks Authority site and tap “Park Search.”
