Watch: DC’s bald eagles weather wind storm

WASHINGTON — D.C.’s famous bald eagles, Liberty and Justice, are keeping close watch over their eggs in the middle of an extreme wind storm.

On a live web cam provided by Earth Conservation Corps, at least one of the eagles can be seen hanging tight as the tree sways in Friday’s powerful winds. The organization warns that high winds could take out the live streaming cameras, but it will be monitoring the situation.

Liberty laid the first egg on Feb. 7, and the second came just a few days later on Feb. 11.
