Man found unconscious in SE DC dies from gunshot wounds

WASHINGTON — A man found by D.C. police unconscious and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds died from his injuries.

The victim has been identified as Marcel Harrison, 30, of Southeast D.C.

Police responded to a report of an unconscious man just before 11:45 p.m. on Saturday on the 3000 block of 30th street in Southeast D.C., where they found Harrison unconscious and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to a news release from D.C. police.

D.C. Fire and EMS transported Harrison to an area hospital for treatment, but all lifesaving efforts failed.

D.C. police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in D.C.
