WASHINGTON — Two men were arrested after a police chase in Northwest D.C. during the afternoon rush hour.

Just before 5 p.m. Tuesday, the U.S. Park Police said they found a car that the Arlington County police had linked to a felony charge driving along on Beach Drive.

The park police tried to pull over, but the driver took off. During the chase, the car hit another vehicle, causing significant damage, the police said.

The car stopped on Connecticut Avenue, near the Van Ness-UDC Metro station, and police arrested the two men in the car.
