Police seek suspect who shot 2 in Southeast DC

WASHINGTON — Police are looking for the suspect who shot two people in Southeast D.C. Thursday.

A shooting happened on the 1900 block of 16th Street Southeast around 2 p.m. Thursday. Police responded to find a man and a teen boy with gunshot wounds.

Emergency crews transported them to an area hospital, where they are in critical condition as of Thursday afternoon.

Police are looking for a suspect in the shooting who is described as a black man who wore all black at the time of the crime.

The shooting happened about three blocks away from nearby Anacostia High School.
