DC man arrested for sexual assault on Orange Line train

WASHINGTON — A 27-year-old man was arrested at a Metro station after a train passenger said he sexually assaulted her Monday afternoon, Metro Transit Police said.

Anthony Sinclair of D.C. is accused of exposing himself to a woman on an Orange Line train as it approached the Dunn Loring station around 2 p.m. Monday. He then tried to force her to perform a sex act.

Sinclair was arrested immediately after the woman identified him. He has been charged with aggravated sexual battery and also assault and battery.

He is being held without bond at Arlington County Jail as police continue to investigate the assault.
