Outage in Northwest DC affects about 2,000 Pepco customers

WASHINGTON — About 2,000 Pepco customers in Northwest D.C. did not have power around 2 p.m. Wednesday.

As of 4:50 p.m., most of the affected customers have had power restored.

Pepco crews are still repairing a damaged transformer on the intersection of MacArthur Boulevard and Loughboro Road near Sibley Hospital.
