Police make arrests in D.C. barbershop shooting, 1 suspect at large

WASHINGTON — D.C. Police say two men are charged with shooting a man and his 14-month old boy in a barbershop last week, and they are looking for a third suspect.

Investigators say 21-year-old Terrance Atchinson and 27-year-old Barry Bloomfield are charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

Police say men wearing masks walked into Wrenn’s Barber Shop at 1005 8th St. Southeast last Friday and opened fire, hitting a man in the legs and grazing his 14-month-old son.

Both survived the attack.

Investigators are still looking for a third suspect, Anthony Chambers of Southeast, D.C. who they say is armed and dangerous.
