D.C. police search for ‘critical missing’ teen

WASHINGTON — D.C. police have sought the public’s help finding Brenda Hernandez, a 13-year-old they’ve described as “critical missing.”

Police say Brenda was last seen at at around 10 a.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Fort Stevens Drive Northeast.

She’s described as a Hispanic female, 5-feet, 1-inches tall, 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing jean shorts, a black shirt and a blue-and-pink backpack.
Anyone with information about Brenda’s whereabouts is asked to call the Metropolitan Police Department at 202-727-9099, the Youth and Family Services Division at 202-576-6768, or 911.
