WASHINGTON — Police arrested seven men in an ongoing prostitution sting in D.C. — bringing the total number of arrests in the operation to almost 150 in a less than one-month period.
On Monday, the Metropolitan Police Department announced seven arrests as part of its prostitution enforcement operation. All seven adult men are charged with solicitation of prostitution.
The operation, which began July 14, 2015, has netted 149 arrests.
The most recent arrests occurred as a result of incidents in and around the downtown area in Northwest D.C.
The sting is ongoing, police say.
