WASHINGTON — D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services have announced funeral details for a firefighter who died in the line of duty.
The funeral procession and interment for Lt. Kevin McRae will take place on Friday, May 15 beginning at 9 a.m., at the DC Armory and Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
The 26-year veteran had a heart attack and collapsed on May 6 while responding to a two-alarm high rise fire on the 1300 block of 7th Street NW.
The 44-year-old is survived by his wife and three children.
