More than 800 Pepco customers without power

WASHINGTON — Pepco is still working to get electricity restored to more than 890 customers after an underground cable was cut in the 3300 block of 18th Street.

Crews expected to have the power restored by 1 p.m., Pepco spokesman Bob Haney told WTOP. The company’s outage map estimates a 3 p.m. restoration time.

At the height of the problem, 1,900 customers did not have electricity.
