Metro’s Silver Line service restored following suspicious package investigation

WASHINGTON – Metro service is returning to normal on the Silver Line between East Falls Church and Tysons Corner.

Service was suspended earlier in the night Tuesday after transit police got a call about a suspicious package in the area, a Metro spokesperson said.

Shuttle buses were running, but around 9:15 p.m., Metro tweeted that regular service was restored, and there were no delays.
