WASHINGTON — Hilton has opened its first Curio Collection-branded hotel
in D.C.
The Darcy, formerly a Doubletree by Hilton at 1515 Rhode Island Ave., NW, in Logan Circle, has undergone a top-to-bottom renovation and includes offerings from local chefs and businesses.
Room service includes a cocktail cart.
The Darcy, with 226 rooms, also includes meeting space, a ballroom and an outdoor patio.
The hotel’s main restaurant, Siren, comes from local chef Robert Wiedmaier, whose other restaurants include Marcel’s, Brasserie Beck and Mussel Bar Bethesda, and partner chef Brian McBride.
Lil’ B Coffee & Eatery is a street-level coffee shop and bakery with a Southern-inspired menu from Chef David Guas, whose local restaurants include Bayou Bakery, Coffee Bar & Eatery,
Reed Wall, a men’s clothing store in the U Street corridor, has a store at the hotel, and local flower delivery startup UrbanStems will provide a bimonthly flower bar for guests to build their own bouquets.
The hotel hosts nightly free cocktail parties for guests featuring local spirits like Green Hat Gin. Guests can summon a traveling cocktail cart to their rooms, accompanied by a mixologist.
And complimentary scooters and bikes are available.
The Darcy Washington DC, Curio Collection by Hilton is owned by KHP Capital Partners and managed by Safe Hospitality.
Hilton launched the Curio brand in 2014.
