WASHINGTON — An 1860s waterfront bed-and-breakfast in St. Michaels, on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, just hit the market for $1.975 million.
Long & Foster Real Estate Inc. has the listing, and said the inn, Aida’s Victoriana Inn, includes original wainscoting, millwork mantels and hardwood floors. It has seven bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms, in addition to a separate, two-bedroom owner’s cottage.
Victoriana, originally built in 1865, overlooks the old Navy Point, which was the original location for the town’s oyster and canning houses and is now home to the Chesapeake Maritime Museum. It is two blocks from Talbot Street’s shops and restaurants in St. Michaels.
It is also a popular Chesapeake Bay sailing destination.
