WASHINGTON — A man driving an SUV on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway in Anne Arundel County was shot in the leg by another driver Sunday morning, and now Maryland state police are searching for the suspect.
Multiple shots were fired at the driver’s side door while both vehicles were heading north on the Parkway, police said in a news release.
Police arrived on Route 295 northbound at Route 195 in Glen Burnie around 5 a.m., the release said. The 21-year-old man who was shot was transported to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center for treatment. His girlfriend, who was also in the SUV with him, was not hurt in the incident.
Police are searching for the suspect, who is described as an African-American male driving a silver Dodge Charger, they said.
